Consultation
During your first consultation with the doctor, you'll discuss any health-related issues and concerns. You will also learn about potential treatment options.
Examination
In order to pinpoint the problem, the doctor will ask you a number of questions related to your condition. A variety of targeted tests will also be performed to determine which tissues/muscles are
affected and to what extent of motion
Same-day treatment
Patients will generally undergo their first
treatment on their first visit after the examination. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed at this time. This may include spinal adjustments and physical
therapy.
Referrals for MRI or X-rays
Your specific condition may require us to take MRI imaging or x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in assessing the most effective treatment plan for you.
Home instructions
Before leaving, you'll be given instructions on certain stretches to be conducted at home to help relieve the pain. This may include ice or heat applications, avoidance of certain activities or
positions, as well as home exercises.
Scheduling the next appointment
Regular treatment is essential to the process. We work our treatments around your schedule! Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days of their initial visit and are provided with a complete review of findings.
